ABA National Mentor Program for Lawyers and Law Students with Disabilities. The program offers current and prospective law school students, as well as graduates, the opportunity to learn from experienced attorneys.
The Mentorship Project is an online collection of conversations and advice. As part of the project the YLD teamed with StoryCorps® to share stories on mentorship in the legal profession. StoryCorps® is an independent nonprofit project whose mission is to honor and celebrate one another’s lives through listening. The mentorship stories are also archived in the StoryCorps collection in the Library of Congress.
The Pupil Group Mentor Program pairs two Inn members (at least one of which is a recent law graduate) with the Pupil members from each of the Inn’s participating law schools. The idea is to provide an informal forum in which Pupils (and possibly even other students from their schools) can explore their questions regarding preparation for and transition to professional practice. Pupil Group Mentors need not be alumni of the law school to which they are assigned. Mentor pairings will be assigned by the Officers of the Inn. The subject matter of the mentoring relationship and the individual meetings, however, e.g., personal, professional, career-development oriented, is at the sole discretion of the participant.

The purpose of the Mentorship Program is to facilitate the establishment of mentor/ mentee relationships between LGLA member attorneys and local law students. Our mentors provide advice, counsel, and guidance to law students and, thereby, contribute to the development of a strong LGBT legal community. Mentors must be members of LGLA in good standing and attorneys licensed to practice law in the State of California. Judicial officers, or retired attorneys who were once licensed to practice law in the State of California are also eligible to serve as mentors. Ideally, mentors will be able to serve as an ongoing resource for any students to which they are assigned.
LeGal and NALP's LGBT Section seek to foster professional development of LGBT law students while assisting mentees with navigating some of the unique issues that members of LGBT community may confront during law school and at the beginning of their legal careers.
The PALS program is dedicated to enhancing the skills and careers of minority law students and early career attorneys. PALS offers customized mentoring, educational, and professional development opportunities.

WLALA is pleased to offer mentoring circles, which are an informal group composed of lawyers, judges and others in the legal field from a variety of practice areas and experience levels. WLALA's Law Student Mentoring Program pairs law student members with lawyer members to encourage and facilitate the development of women law students. Mentors and mentees are matched based on interests and background, where possible. The program is flexible; mentors and mentees choose when and how to stay connected with one another, whether it is through e-mail, telephone chats, in-person meetings, or a combination of the above.
